One website, one app, one name

To make things easier for you as a traveler, we are bringing everything together under one name – Mälardalstrafik. However, our trains will still be called Mälartåg in our own and our resellers channels, and Movingo will remain the season ticket for frequent travelers.

What does this mean for you?

You can continue traveling as usual! Our Mälartåg trains will run according to the current timetable, and customer service will be available as before.

We are merging our apps into one app, launching in April. This means you will soon be able to purchase both Mälartåg single tickets and Movingo season tickets in the same app and here on www.malardalstrafik.se/en. The new app will also offer even better traffic information.

Do you need to do anything?

The Mälartåg app will be updated automatically and renamed Mälardalstrafik. Your account details and tickets will be transferred. If you don’t have automatic updates enabled, you need to update the app manually via App Store or Google Play. 

If you have an active Movingo season ticket, you can continue using the Movingo app as usual. From April, you will be able to purchase your next Movingo ticket in the new Mälardalstrafik app.
