How services will be affected
Västerås–Sala
Trains will be replaced by buses from Sunday 7 June at 00:00 until Thursday 18 June at 24:00, and again from Sunday 21 June at 00:00 until Wednesday 24 June at 24:00. During the track work, switches and tracks will be renewed. All replacement buses will stop at Ransta station.

Linköping–Norrköping
Mälartåg services will be replaced by buses from Monday 8 June at 00:00 until Sunday 14 June at 24:00 due to track maintenance work.
Östgötatrafiken will operate all replacement bus services between Norrköping and Linköping.
No bicycles on replacement buses
During the track works Linköping-Norrköping you are not allowed to bring your bike onboard on the replacement buses.
There is no designated storage space for strollers on the bus. Strollers may only be brought on board if space permits.

Search and purchase your journey in Östgötatrafiken app. Departure times are also available on Östgötatrafiken’s website.If you already have a Mälartåg ticket, it will also be valid on the replacement buses.
Flen–Katrineholm/Hallsberg
The track work will affect two lines during the Midsummer weekend: Hallsberg–Katrineholm–Stockholm and Linköping–Västerås–Eskilstuna–Uppsala.
Trains will be replaced by buses from Midsummer Eve, 19 June at 15:00, until Sunday 21 June at 22:00 on the sections Flen–Hallsberg and Flen–Katrineholm.
Replacement bus stops
The buses will depart from designated replacement bus stops at the stations.

Strollers and bicycles on replacement buses
During the track works Flen-Katrineholm/Hallsberg and Västerås-Sala you may bring a folded stroller or a smaller pram that fits in the bus luggage compartment. There is less space for bicycles on replacement buses than on our double-decker trains, so bicycles may not always be allowed onboard.
