Thanks to temporary government funding for public transport, Movingo 30-day season tickets are available at half price for a limited period in 2026.
The last day to buy a Movingo 30-day ticket at half price in our app or on our website is 1 December. Activate your ticket by 2 December. From 2 December, Movingo 30-day tickets will be sold at the regular price.
Your ticket can remain valid up to and including 31 December 2026.
Temporary ticket purchase rules
From 18 November to 1 December 2026, temporary purchase rules apply in our app and on our website. During this period, you can buy a Movingo ticket no earlier than the day before you activate it. You can also buy and activate your ticket on the same day.
The regular purchase rules will apply again from 2 December, allowing you to buy a Movingo ticket up to 15 days before activation.
The same travel options at a lower price
A Movingo season ticket gives you access to an integrated and reliable public transport network throughout the Stockholm–Mälaren region, making it easy to travel across transport networks and county boundaries.
A half-price Movingo 30-day ticket is valid on the same routes as a ticket purchased at the regular price. Travel on Mälartåg, SJ and Trosabussen services, as well as connecting local public transport in the Stockholm–Mälaren region, is included for your chosen route.

Could the half-price offer for Movingo 30-day tickets be extended?
Half-price Movingo 30-day tickets are made possible by temporary government funding. No decision has been made to extend this funding.
The last day to buy a Movingo 30-day ticket at half price in our app or on our website is 1 December 2026, with activation required by 2 December. Tickets purchased through these channels from 2 December will be sold at the regular price.
Why does the price reduction not apply to all your tickets?
The government funding only covers season tickets offering unlimited travel for between 28 and 31 days. The price reduction therefore only applies to Movingo 30-day season tickets. It does not apply to single tickets or Movingo 5/30 tickets.
Does the price reduction apply to student and youth Movingo 30-day tickets?
Yes. The student/youth fare is also reduced by half.
