Travel to Arlanda Central

SL commuter trains between Arlanda and Uppsala are not covered by the SL fare system. Instead, this section is covered by the UL ticketing system. To travel on this route, you need either a Movingo ticket with UL validity, a Mälartåg single ticket, or a UL ticket.

You can purchase a Movingo ticket for the Uppsala–Arlanda/Märsta route. The ticket includes UL validity, but not SL validity. If you wish to continue your journey within the SL network, you will need to purchase a separate SL ticket.

Arlanda passage ticket

To pass through the ticket gates to and from SkyCity at Arlanda Central, passengers aged 18 or over must purchase an Arlanda Passage Ticket in addition to their train ticket.

If you are travelling with Mälartåg

If you are travelling with a Mälartåg single ticket purchased through the Mälardalstrafik app or website, you can add the Arlanda Passage Ticket when purchasing your ticket. When buying from certain retailers, the Arlanda passage fee may already be included in the ticket price.

If you have a Movingo season ticket, you can add the Arlanda Passage Ticket if your journey starts, ends, or passes through Arlanda Central. The Arlanda Passage Ticket is valid for the entire validity period of your Movingo ticket, whether you have a 30-day ticket or a 5/30 ticket.

If you are travelling with UL

If you are travelling with UL services, you can add an Arlanda Passage Ticket when purchasing your UL ticket.
