New train numbers on some departures

From 15 March, some departures on the Hallsberg–Stockholm and Norrköping–Nyköping–Stockholm routes will receive new train numbers.

The change is being made to ensure that traffic information is displayed correctly in journey planners and apps.

New train numbers on some departures

From 15 March, some departures on the Hallsberg–Stockholm and Norrköping–Nyköping–Stockholm routes will receive new train numbers.

The change is being made to ensure that traffic information is displayed correctly in journey planners and apps.

Affected train numbers

The following train numbers will receive new numbers starting 15 March:

Hallsberg–Stockholm: Train 121-133 and 135.
The new train numbers will start with 41, for example 4121 instead of 121.

Norrköping–Nyköping–Stockholm: Train 255. The new train number on Fridays will be 4255.

 What applies when traveling by these trains

  • Your journey will not be affected. Departure times remain the same and your ticket will still be valid as usual.
  • If you have already purchased a ticket, it may show an older train number (1xx), while station displays and apps show the new number (41xx). It is the same departure and you can travel as planned.
  • If you are monitoring a departure in an app, you will need to remove and add the alert again if your departure has been assigned a new train number.

Passengers who purchased tickets for the affected departures through Resplus have received an SMS with this information.
